Procurement Clerk

Reports to Business Analytics Manager 

The Procurement Clerk is responsible for a wide variety of administrative duties. Its role is to ensure smooth procedures in our office, contribute to driving sustainable growth, and maintain confidentiality and professional interactions with employees and management. Other duties shall be assigned as necessary. The Procurement Clerk will be required to both take direction and work intuitively to support the completion of the department's goals and objectives in a professionally and culturally appropriate manner.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Perform various ad-hoc reporting, research, and analysis duties to support day-to-day operational and strategic management decisions

  • Analyze forecast trends and sales demands

  • Work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment while adapting to changing priorities and managing multiple projects simultaneously

  • Analyze complex data and collaboration tools

  • Preparing data for reports

  • Perform data quality audits

  • Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance with the company

  • policies

  • Coordinates and completes significant special projects independently or in cooperation with

  • other groups as directed by the Manager and Data Operations Associate, or designate

  • Monitor inbound loads

  • Submit timely reports and prepare presentations/proposals as assigned

  • Organizes, prioritizes, assembles, and formats quality reports and other documents, to make them consistent, accurate, and valuable before sending them to the vendors

  • Obtains data, queries anomalies, and prepares reports in support of the department

  • Ensures the safeguarding of all confidential files

 

Qualifications and Skills

  • Knowledge in Microsoft Excel

  • Knowledge of Famous Software and experience in the produce industry are assets

  • Computer and data entry experience with a high level of accuracy

  • Proven organizational, time management, analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to fine details

  • Willingness to work independently with minimal supervision and take ownership of the job

  • Ability to work Saturdays and Holidays
